SEC ExtraNo one used the transfer portal more effectively in the infancy of the one-time undergrad transfer era than LSU last season, as it reeled in Paul Skenes and Tommy White, two elite talents who were key in leading the Tigers to a national title, among others who had roles to play.
LSU has continued to use the transfer portal to supplement its roster, but simultaneous to that, it also continues to be a force in traditional recruiting and that was reflected again in a standout 2023 class.
