Player of the Week – Ike Irish, Auburn

Though Irish’s Auburn team was swept over the weekend by Texas A&M, Irish did his best to put the Tigers on his back in College Station. In four games last week, which also included a midweek game against Jacksonville State, he went 10-for-19 with a double, three home runs, seven runs scored and 12 RBIs. For the season, he’s batting .367/.446/.734 with eight doubles, 10 home runs, 43 RBIs and more walks (15) than strikeouts (14).
