In a five-game week made up of a Monday game against Butler, a midweek game against Lamar and a weekend series against Samford, Crews went 9-for-15 with three home runs, eight RBIs and six walks. For the season, Crews has been every bit the dynamic player he’s always been at the plate and then some. He’s batting .510/.648/.922 with six doubles, five home runs, 23 RBIs and 17 walks compared to just nine strikeouts.
