SEC Preview: Alabama Storylines

Let’s review five leading storylines heading into the 2023 Alabama season.

Is this the year? Alabama snuck into the regionals in 2021, but it last won half (15-15) of its SEC games in 2016. This could be the season all that changes. The Crimson Tide entered the season ranked 20th and has a chance to flush years of frustration. Brad Bohannon has upgraded the roster and appears to have a group that can compete for—shudder to think—a regional host spot. Plenty has to happen to get there, but there are reasons for optimism that don’t require Crimson-colored glasses.
