Let’s review five leading storylines heading into the 2023 South Carolina season.

The see-saw lifts up in 2023: Since their regional hosting team in 2014, to put it mildly, South Carolina has been an up-and-down squad. For example, in 2015, they missed the postseason at 13-17 in SEC play. In 2016, the Gamecocks rebounded by hosting and winning a regional. In 2017, they missed the postseason again at 13-17.
