SEC Season in Review: Tennessee

Record: 44-22 (16-14 in SEC)

Lineup MVP: Jared Dickey

The Tennessee lineup was inconsistent throughout the 2023 season, but outfielder Jared Dickey was the metronome that kept it all running from start to finish. He had a .328/.392/.525 slash line with 12 home runs and 52 RBIs, all with the lowest strikeout rate among lineup regulars. He was even better in SEC play, as he batted .369/.432/.577 against league competition. He’s never been the splashiest name in the Tennessee lineup, but he’ll be missed next season.
