SEC Weekend Preview: Vanderbilt, South Carolina Battle for Top Spot in East

The SEC West tends to be thought of as the toughest gauntlet in college baseball, and for good reason, but this season, the SEC East has proven to be the tougher division. 

There are four teams in that division with league records of 9-3 or better, which is better than the West-leading Arkansas at 8-4. That will inevitably level out as more top East teams play each other moving forward, but it is notable at this juncture.
