The NCAA on Sunday announced the 16 host sites for next weekend’s regionals, and the SEC set a record by getting eight of them.
Going into the SEC Tournament, there were nine SEC teams with very real hosting aspirations. Tennessee lost on the opening day of the event, which knocked the Volunteers from the ranks of the hopefuls.
