Sprague Deals As Elon Shuts Out Kentucky

ELON, N.C. — Kentucky knew it was in for a tough challenge Friday afternoon with Elon sophomore Shea Sprague on the mound. 

The lefthander is coming off a freshman season where he had a 1.89 ERA and held opponents to a .215 batting average in 62 innings, a performance that earned him CAA co-rookie of the year honors.
