TUSCALOOSA, Ala – Brad Bohannon has been here before. Last season, in fact. His 2021 Alabama squad finished the SEC season with an identical 12-17 conference record, won a pair of games in the SEC Tournament, and slipped into the regional field.

His club will try to recreate that magic Tuesday as his 11th-seeded Crimson Tide opens the SEC Tournament on Tuesday at 9:30 AM CT against 6th-seeded Georgia. Should they be fortunate enough to best the Bulldogs, they’d face a 3rd-seeded Arkansas squad they just took a series from with a decisive 18-5 victory Saturday.
