Cambria Notebook: Notre Dame Headlines Sunday In Minneapolis

As the 2022 Cambria College Classic came to a close on Sunday here’s a quick recap of each team from Day 3.

Notre Dame

With 6-1 and 2-1 wins over Illinois and Michigan State on Friday and Saturday, the Notre Dame pitching staff saved its best for last against Minnesota. Austin Temple took a no-hitter into the bottom of the seventh inning when a Chase Stanke home run broke both the no-no and the shutout. The Irish would still secure the 3-1 victory to go 3-0 in Minneapolis this weekend as the Cambria College Classic champions.
