Wake Forest’s Chase Burns shuts down Virginia offense to even series


CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — Tom Walter had a good sense of what he would get out of his Wake Forest team and how it would respond to certain situations last season. The Demon Deacons returned nearly their entire starting lineup and almost every notable pitcher from 2022 on last year’s Omaha bound team.
