The latest D1Baseball Top 25 Rankings are out, and once again, Wake Forest assumes the top spot in the land after yet another strong week of action. The rest of the top five includes Arkansas, LSU, Florida and TCU.
Arkansas had an unblemished weekend, LSU went 3-0 at the Astros Foundation Classic, Florida won a road series over in-state rival Miami and TCU went 3-0 against a pair of Pac-12 teams, improving to 8-0 on the season against teams from that conference.
Interestingly, the rest of the Top 10 is status quo as well. Oregon State went 4-0, Texas A&M continues to roll, Tennessee swept Bowling Green, Vanderbilt went 3-0 at the Astros Foundation Classic and Clemson had a big weekend against in-state rival South Carolina.
There are no significant changes in the rankings until you get in the 15-20 range. Alabama, North Carolina and Texas Tech each moved up a spot, while Coastal Carolina, Auburn and Dallas Baptist moved into the Top 20 after having excellent weeks.
Texas had the most significant drop of the week, plunging from No. 15 to No. 24, while UC Irvine is the lone new entrant into the latest Top 25 Rankings. The Anteaters had a big weekend with wins over San Diego, Michigan and UCLA and are a perfect 9-0. Indiana dropped out of the rankings this week after going 1-2 over the weekend and allowing 24 runs in the two setbacks.
