Emerging Stars Savino, Gelof Shine Bright In Virginia’s ACC Opener

DURHAM, N.C. — Brian O’Connor has been confident since the fall that his Virginia offense would be formidable. But he also recognized, like any rational observer would, that it wouldn’t be easy to replace ace Andrew Abbott and postseason star Griff McGarry in the rotation.
