Florida evens MCWS finals with record 24-run barrage

OMAHA — Hurston Waldrep, whose presence on the mound to start game two of the Men’s College World Series finals against LSU was the biggest reason for Florida optimism going into the game, didn’t pitch well against the Tigers. 

He really struggled with control from the very start, and by the time his outing was done and dusted, he’d given up three runs on four hits and six walks in 2.1 innings. 

Just given that information and nothing else, it would be fair to assume that LSU would be celebrating a national championship right about now. 

But the Tigers aren’t celebrating just yet[…]
