Cal State Fullerton literally shows its mettle against Jacksonville
At The BallparkFULLERTON — Apparently the Cal State Fullerton Titans forgot that they weren’t supposed to be such a prolific offense. Coulda fooled me. Today, the Titans took on a Jacksonville team that was picked to win the Atlantic Sun in the preseason and had a cadre of wicked-good arms. But the team that came in barely hitting over .200-plus as a team ended up going nuts at the plate, using their Easton composite metal bats to power their way to a pair of wins by scores of 13-2 and 15-3.
