Marks Proves Expert Marksman For Unbeaten USC Upstate
BUIES CREEK, N.C. — When Jordan Marks issued a one-out walk to Campbell’s Waldy Arias in the third inning Friday, a scout sitting behind home plate threw up his hands. “That’s it, below-average control. Write it down,” the scout quipped.
The walk prompted such a reaction because it was the first of the year issued by Marks, USC Upstate’s fourth-year junior ace.
