Team pitching effort leads Florida to CWS finals

OMAHA — It’s always nice when a plan comes together, and with that being the case, Florida head coach Kevin O’Sullivan and his staff had to have enjoyed a nice Wednesday afternoon in Omaha. 

Its pitching staff, which was meticulously built and tinkered with for much of the first half of the season, and not without some fits and starts and stressful moments, came through in the biggest moment of the season to beat TCU 3-2, which advances the Gators to the CWS finals beginning Saturday.
