2024 Cape Cod League Prospect Breakdown: Wareham Hitters

Wareham made the playoffs out of the West Division, finishing the regular season with a 22-17-1 record, but saw its postseason come to an abrupt end with a 7-4 loss to Cotuit in a first round one-game playoff. 

The Gatemen had a strong lineup this summer, as they led the league in a few categories, including OPS (.750) and doubles (76), which were 15 more than any other team. Standouts for the season included third baseman Murf Gray (Fresno State/2025), outfielder Brendan Summerhill (Arizona/2025), utility player extraordinaire Bobby Boser (Florida/2024) and first baseman Nate Earley (Louisville/2025).
