The city of St. Louis and the name ‘McGwire’ are a natural fit. After Mark McGwire hit 220 of his 583 career home runs in only five years as a player with the Cardinals – and later spent three years as a coach with the team – his oldest son Max is heading to Saint Louis University this fall to continue his collegiate career.
