NEWPORT, R.I. — After the 2020 New England Collegiate Baseball League season was canceled by the COVID-19 pandemic, the league’s talent level took a slight hit in 2021. Last week’s NECBL all-star game was a bit light on power arms, and there weren’t any surefire stars in the position player ranks that compared with 2019 NECBL star Hudson Haskin (a second-round pick in 2020).
