Etheridge’s SEC Weekend Dish – Home Teams Continue to Surge

Life on the road in conference play has proven treacherous. Home teams are now 30-12 (.714) in the first two weeks of SEC play. Teams that can snag road series wins, such as Arkansas, Kentucky, and Florida, all won tight games to triumph. And while those teams are now at or near the top of the standings, avoiding a road sweep as Mississippi State and Ole Miss gives you a fighting chance. Win two at home and one on the road is par, then aim for a birdie or two somewhere along the course.
