- After a rocky opening game start, LSU’s Thatcher Hurd has amassed 10.2 consecutive innings of shutout ball against Texas and then Monday versus Butler. This week he finished with 11 strikeouts and one walk. Does Hurd move into the rotation this weekend versus Samford? Seems he is destined for a rotation slot by the SEC opener in two weekends.
