Player of the Week – Corey Collins, Georgia

In four games last week, capped off by his team’s emphatic sweep of Alabama at home, Collins went 11-for-17 with six home runs and 13 RBIs. That production represents more than half of his season total in hits, home runs and RBIs, as he’s still only started 11 of Georgia’s 25 games. For the season, he’s batting .425/.615/1.175 with 10 home runs, 23 RBIs and more walks (16) than strikeouts (11).
