Anteaters stifle Aggies (again) to take series

IRVINE, Calif — Through 18 innings of Big West play, UC Irvine head coach Ben Orloff has seen his pitchers and defenders give up one run on 10 hits. The defense has committed one error and the pitching has issued just three walks. 

Now, when you consider the fact that he knew going into the season that this offense was going to be the strength of his team, then you’d have to figure he is pretty happy with the way his team has started off this season and is developing.
