Florida remained atop the D1Baseball Top 25 rankings after winning two of three on the road against then-No. 6 Miami. Vanderbilt, Texas A&M and Oregon State moved up one spot apiece to Nos. 2-4, and Louisville dropped from No. 2 to No. 5 after dropping a road series against Ole Miss.
The Rebels jumped into the rankings at No. 17, one of two newcomers to the Top 25. East Carolina also vaulted into the rankings at No. 16 after taking two of three on the road from defending national champion Virginia. The Cavaliers dropped eight spots to No. 19.
But the biggest faller of the week was Oklahoma State, which tumbled from No. 12 to No. 25 after getting swept at North Carolina, losing all three games in walk-off fashion. The Cowboys fell to 2-5 on the season and hung on to the final spot in the rankings by a thread. UNC jumped up four spots from No. 10 to No. 6 after winning its second straight series against a top-12 opponent.
LSU, NC State and Oregon stayed put in the 7-9 spots, and Miami fell four spots to No. 10. TCU climbed six spots to No. 11 after an undefeated weekend at the Houston College Classic, and Arkansas made an even bigger jump after its 3-0 weekend at the same tournament, vaulting 10 spots to No. 14.
Houston and Texas fell out of the Top 25. The Cougars had a losing weekend at the Houston College Classic to finish 1-3 on the week, while Texas went 2-2 in a four-game home series against Stanford.
