A Look Back at a Classic

BATON ROUGE, La – Some fans want a 12-11 game with tons of offense. And surely, I admit to enjoying my share of those from time to time. But there’s something about ace versus ace, where baserunners are cherished, and you just never know which pitch will decide the game.

Thursday night’s Tennessee at LSU game was the latter, where each pitcher dealt, and the game turned on a fielding error followed by a bases-loaded clutch hit that lifted the Tigers to a 5-2 victory.
