Alabama’s Jackson earning respect from peers
SEC ExtraHOOVER, Ala – The news broke on a Thursday. Jason Jackson’s life changed quickly as his boss, then Alabama head coach Brad Bohannon was dismissed for his connection to a gambling probe.
All eyes looked toward him for leadership. If he was fazed at all, it hasn’t been evident yet.
The Crimson Tide had just been swept at LSU. They were 30-12 overall but just 9-12 in SEC play. At this point, a once-promising season that had them ranked 20th in the preseason appeared to be melting away. First, by losses, then by the uncertainty of a scandal.
