2022 Control Artists 1.0: College Baseball’s Top 30 Strike-Throwers

Yesterday we featured many of the top power arms with Heat Sheet 5.0. Today we take an initial look at the top strike-throwers in Division I baseball. As we see more and more velocity around the country every year, but also more deep counts and “Ball Four” than ever before, it’s time to identify some K-pumpers who challenge and fill the zone.

Two pitchers can be found on both the Heat Sheet and Control Artists; highly ranked 2022 draft prospect Jonathan Cannon (Georgia) and fast-rising 2023 prospect Nathan Dettmer (Texas A&M).
