Coaching Buzz: Missouri Candidates Galore

It’s uncommon to see a coaching change go down on a Saturday morning, but Missouri did just that, as long-time head coach Tim Jamieson announced his resignation after 22 seasons as the Tigers’ head coach, and 28 total seasons with the program.

It was rumored a couple of weeks ago that Jamieson might simply retire. However, sources close to Jamieson were steadfast in saying that no retirement would be taking place. Well, it appears the Tigers didn’t give Jamieson many options, and he resigned his post.
