Ranking The West, Week Two: Cal makes a move

Pretty tough weekend for the boys west of the Rockies. Some of the Pac 12ers who have been bearing the flag for the West Coast baseball in recent years — like Stanford, Arizona and UCLA — all took some shots to the chin this week and need to rebound. But programs like Cal, San Diego and Fresno State might be much better than we anticipated. Granted it’s still early returns on all of them, so let’s not banish anyone or anoint anyone at this point.
