After going 25-17-2 to finish second in the Cape League’s East Division, the Hyannis Harbor Hawks swept Falmouth in the first round of the playoffs. They wound up falling in a winner-take-all third game of the semifinals against eventual champion Bourne, but the season was a clear success for Hyannis.

The Hyannis pitching staff ranked near the middle of the Cape League pack with a 4.34 ERA, but this staff was well stocked with bat-missing stuff, as evidenced by its league-best 419 strikeouts.
