In an era of early commitments and, now, Transfer Portal gains/losses, the life of a recruiting coordinator has never been more difficult. Constantly piecing together future classes while committing to being present with the players on campus is no easy task. So when Major League Baseball decided to push the date of the annual first year player draft back by a month to July 11-13, it essentially made the lives of those recruiters exponentially more difficult.

Questions abound: Which recruits and rostered players could get drafted? Which will sign? How do we make up for the losses?
