Resilient Penn outlasts Auburn in extra-inning thriller

AUBURN, Ala. — Penn outplayed Auburn for most of the evening Friday at Plainsman Park, and in the end, the Quakers came away with a 6-3 win, the program’s first since 1990.

But to describe it in those terms is to underestimate how hard they had to fight to get the job done, in 11 innings, no less.
