Indiana State rallies, Iowa survives in Terre HautePostseason
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Wright State wasn’t going to sneak up on anyone coming into the 2023 NCAA Tournament, and through the first seven innings it was the fourth-seeded Raiders that were in command of their game against the regional host, top-seeded Indiana State. The Sycamores remained cool and collected and continued to battle until the very end, scoring three runs in the bottom of the eighth, headlined by Grant Magill’s go-ahead two-run single, that allowed them to take a 6-5 lead.
After three quick outs by closer Jared Spencer, Indiana State had successfully completed their regional-opening comeback.
