MANHATTAN, Kan. – Missouri State appeared to be riding a high note at the start of last week. The Bears had won three of their four weekend series prior to that, and in the series they lost against Southern Miss they still pulled out a win and lost the other two games by one run each. Last week proved to be unkind to the Bears, however, as they went 0-4, losing a midweek contest at Saint Louis and then dropping all three games at K-State.
