The definition of the Underdog of the Week doesn’t mean it has to be a team with a directional name or with a student enrollment that sits lower in number than some high schools in Texas.
In fact, this week’s Underdog is actually one of those blue blood big dogs who is very familiar to all college baseball fans everywhere. It’s Florida State. The Seminoles went down to Miami with a 7-6 record and had fallen completely off the radar of us national media snobs.
