Two weeks ago, we released our midseason field of 64 projection, after the completion of week seven action. With nine weeks in the books, it’s time for another update. Some notable changes from two weeks ago:

• Arkansas takes over for Vanderbilt as No. 1 national seed.

• Mississippi State, Oregon and Tennessee replace Texas Tech, Ole Miss and Arizona as top-eight seeds.

• Oregon and Stanford replace Oregon State and Miami as hosts.

• Updated bid projections by conference: SEC (nine); ACC (eight); Pac-12 (six); Big 12 (five); Big Ten and Conference USA (four apiece); American, Big West, Sun Belt and WCC (two apiece).

FIRST FIVE OUT:

Kentucky, Creighton, NC State, Dallas Baptist, Clemson

LAST FIVE IN:

Alabama, Baylor, Tulane, San Diego, Louisiana
