Missouri set to hire Kerrick Jackson as head coach
Coaches CornerMissouri will hire Memphis’ Kerrick Jackson as its new head coach, replacing former head coach Steve Bieser, who was relieved of duties after the Tigers failed to make the NCAA tournament this spring.
Jackson, who spent this past season at Memphis and guided the program to a 29-28 overall record and a 10-14 mark in the American Athletic Conference is no stranger to the Missouri program. Jackson spent five seasons as an assistant and recruiting coordinator for the Tigers from 2011-15 and was part of the coaching staff for the last Missouri team (2012) to make the NCAA tournament.
