Dogged TCU grinds out win vs. Oral Roberts to stay alive in Omaha

OMAHA — Not every baseball game can be a work of art, and there sure won’t be a place in the Louvre for Tuesday afternoon’s elimination game between TCU and Oral Roberts. But the Horned Frogs don’t care about style points; all that matters is that they kept their College World Series run going with a 6-1 win in a disjointed 3.5-hour slog of a game.

“You looked throughout the game and it was just an awkward game. There was no rhythm. There was no flow. There were long breaks, on and on and on,” ORU coach Ryan Folmar said.[…]
