Wake Forest’s Seaver King Wins 2023 Summer Breakout Prospect Award

Seaver King has made hitting a baseball look easy the past two years. Beginning his college career at Division II Wingate University, a private liberal arts institution in North Carolina, King followed up his .381/.449/.640 triple slash as a freshman with a gaudier .411/.457/.699 trifecta last spring as a sophomore. Sandwiched in between those two seasons was an MVP performance in the Valley Baseball League, slashing .313/.378/.487 while swinging a wood bat for the Harrisonburg Turks.
