Midwest Connection: Terps Surge Toward June

Heading into the 2021 season, the Maryland Terrapins were projected here at D1 Baseball to finish third in the Big Ten. Maxwell Costes was our projected Player of the Year pick and Sean Burke was in heavy contention for the league’s preseason Pitcher of the Year honors. Maryland also was one of the four B1G teams projected to make the NCAA Tournament.
