Fall ReportNORTHRIDGE, Calif. — Every year we hear coaches say that every game counts. Sure, it’s probably true but that is difficult for us to really process, especially when you consider there are 56 regular season games. How can ALL of them count? Right?
Well, for head coach Eddie Cornejo and his CSUN Matadors, the 2023 season really did come down to one game. At least when it comes to deciding who made it to the NCAA Tournament from the Big West, that is.
