2023 Fall Report: Oregon

A rabid PK Park crowd was frothing at the duckbill with Oregon just two outs away from its 11th straight win and, more importantly, its first College World Series appearance in nearly 70 years. 

A team that had lost eight of nine late in the regular season came alive in the postseason, sweeping through the Pac-12 Tournament, the Nashville Regional and seemed destined for a trip to Omaha. 

Instead, a ground ball slipped through, a potential double play ball bounced away and then a liner down the line kicked up chalk on a turf field for a walk-off two-run double.[…]
