2023 Fall Report: Liberty
Fall ReportCHAPEL HILL, N.C. — During its five-year run in the Atlantic Sun, Liberty established itself as the class of the league, making regionals in each of its first three completed seasons (2019, ’21 and ’22). Last year, the Flames posted a losing overall record (27-31) for the first time in Scott Jackson’s seven years as head coach, but they still finished above .500 in the league at 16-14.
Now Liberty will take on a new challenge as a member of Conference USA, a strong baseball league that features three other postseason regulars in Dallas Baptist, Louisiana Tech and Sam Houston[…]
