Northwoods Notebook: Arizona State’s Compton, Ball State’s Hallquist make their mark

While the Duluth Huskies season came to a close last weekend without a trip to the Northwoods League postseason they still enjoyed a successful summer. With 36 wins, their .529 winning percentage was the 13th-best mark in the 24-team and they led NWL in numerous, notable offensive categories including batting (.294), hits (707), slugging percentage (.441) and OPS (.842).
