2023 Fall Report: Evansville

Being old has been a bit of a cheat code for mid-major teams in college baseball the last several years. 

Thanks to the extra years of eligibility granted to those players who were in college baseball in 2020, and with fewer players at the mid-major level leaving early in their careers to the draft, it was possible for these programs to field rosters full of fifth and sixth-year seniors that could go toe-to-toe with their more talented but much less experienced counterparts in power conferences.
