Fall ReportTUSCALOOSA, Ala. — There’s no way to sugarcoat the 2023 Florida State baseball season. It was a disaster.
The FSU roster was thinner than usual last year in the wake of a coaching change, and a combination of injuries, inexperience and underperformance doomed the Seminoles, whose streak of 44 consecutive regionals ended in a resounding thud, with a 23-31 overall record and a 9-21 ACC mark. It was not pleasant for anyone around the program, but enduring last year’s trials should harden the returning players for the season ahead.
