Doucette grand slam, Kuroda-Grauer power Rutgers in 15-10 slugfest

NEWARK, Del. — A Tuesday afternoon affair broke out Friday evening at Bob Hannah Stadium. Instead of quick innings, crisp defense and pitchers overpowering hitters with elite stuff, the game devolved into who could take advantage of free passes best and bash the ball out of the ballpark with the most people on base.
