Fall ReportPHOENIX — Head coach Andy Stankiewicz enters his tenth season at Grand Canyon and there is great clarity regarding the program’s next step: a return to the NCAA tournament. The Lopes have won three of the last five WAC regular season championships and the 2019 team finished just one win shy of making a regional. The heartbreak left over from that epic showdown with Sacramento State in the 2019 WAC tournament is real but it also serves as fuel for this program.
